The annual Calumet Wolverines Golf Outing will take place on Sunday, August 31 at the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge in Copper Harbor. Tee off is at 11 a.m.
This is the first time the event has been hosted in Copper Harbor. The tournament is $140 per team of four and includes 18 holes of golf, lunch and prizes for every participant.
All funds raised at the event help support the Calumet Wolverines Senior “A” Hockey Club. The event is one of the Wolverines biggest fundraisers every year.
This year’s tournament is limited to just 20 teams, down four from 2013, and down seven from the 2012 tournament. To register call Bruce “Cukie” Coppo, (906) 369-1880, or the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge, (906) 289-4403.
