Training Camp for 2019-20 season begins Wednesday

Anyone interested in joining the team is invited to attend. This will be the first of likely a dozen skates for the Wolverines Training Camp as the team looks to finalize the team’s roster for the roughly 30-game Great Lakes Hockey League (GLHL) schedule. 

Training camp is $50 per player, due at the first skate the player attends. If a player can’t make the first skate, they are invited to make it as soon as they can. The $50 total will be put toward the season-long player fee. 

The Calumet Wolverines Hockey Club is a full-check adult amateur hockey team that plays in the 10-team GLHL. The team plays about 30 games a year traveling as far away as Wausau and Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. The team practices and plays all its home games out of the historic Calumet Colosseum, and has won back-to-back GLHL Regular Season championships and Gibson Cup championships.

• Wednesday, October 16, 9:45 p.m. at Calumet Colosseum

• Wednesday, November 6, 9:45 p.m. at Calumet Colosseum

All players must be USA Hockey registered prior to hitting the ice. Rosters for both exhibition games will be finalized and posted the Wednesday before each game. A final roster will be posted prior to regular season games starting in November.
