Wolverines announce 2018-19 schedule

The Calumet Wolverines 2018-19 season kicks off this weekend and includes 23 scheduled games, the Great Lakes Hockey League tournament and Gibson Cup series.
The Wolverines season starts November 24 and 25 with a home-and-home against the Portage Lake Pioneers. The Wolverines have a total of five games in Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula in December, including the annual holiday games against the Pioneers, and a game at Meadowbrook Arena in L'Anse on Friday, December 14 against the Mosinee Papermakers.
A total of 16 games will make up the GLHL regular season, giving the Wolverines a chance to win the regular season championship for the second season in a row.
The GLHL Tournament will take place in Mosinee, Wisconsin March 29-31. All nine teams are guaranteed a spot in this year's tournament.
The annual Gibson Cup series will be in early April, with the schedule to be released at a later date.
