Calumet Township, in partnership with the Calumet Hockey Association, is seeking donations to match a grant to pay for replacement boards for the Calumet Colosseum.
The Calumet Wolverines are looking to get involved, and are seeking the help of players, fans and alumni of the team to raise at least $2,500. The donations will go directly to the township, and play a vital part of the township purchasing the new boards.
If $2,500 is raised – the penalty box for the new boards will be named after the Wolverines! If we are able to raise $5,000, both boxes will be named for the organization that’s called the Colosseum home for more than a century.
The Wolverines are hoping to present a check to the township following the September 3 Calumet Outing.
To donate send a check, written out to Calumet Township, to the Calumet Wolverines; 55955 U.S. 41; Calumet, MI 49913.
