Pioneers win eighth straight Gibson Cup title

The Portage Lake Pioneers scored seven straight goals to pull away from the Calumet Wolverines and win game 3 of the 2015-16 Gibson Cup series 8-5 at the Dee Stadium.
The victory marks the eighth straight series win for the Pioneers and brings the team’s total Gibson Cup championships to 24.
Thanks to all of the fans and volunteers for keeping the tradition of Senior “A” Hockey alive and well in Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula!
