The Calumet Wolverines didn't have success as a team this year, earning only four wins in 20 games, but the duo of rookie Levi Erkkila and veteran Logan Rastello left their mark duing the team's 20-game tour of the Great Lakes Hockey League.

Erkkila finished the season with 17 goals and 42 points, good for second in the league. Erkkila was just one point off the league lead after Mosinee's Alex Racino had a three-point night Saturday to pass Erkkila.

The rookie forward played for Calumet High School before he played in the North American Hockey League for a season. Erkkila had points in 19 of Calumet's 20 games on the season, including back-to-back five-point efforts in mid February to climb into the scoring race. His five power-play goals also tied for the league's top mark.

Rastello finished sixth in the league with 15 goals and 37 points. He had 10 multi-point games, including a six-point effort at Monroe on February 7. This is the second straight, and fourth time overall that Rastello has reached the 30-point plateau as a Wolverine.

The Wolverines finished the GLHL in seventh place, and will play in the league tournament next weekend.
