The Calumet Wolverines moved to 3-2-0 at the friendly confines of the Calumet Colosseum Saturday night as the team defeated De Pere 12-4 in regular season Great Lakes Hockey League action.
Alex VanWagner paced the Wolverines with one goal and six points, while Levi Erkkila and Logan Rastello earned their third straight three-point-or-better game. Wayne Hyrkas had a season-high five points, and sophomore goaltender Jason Rank made 17 saves for his first victory of the season.
The Wolverines (3-10-0) led 4-1 after one and 10-2 after two as they cruised by the Deacons (2-12-0).
Calumet returns to action next Friday and Saturday night at home vs. Mosinee and West Bend.
